About Our Market

Building community through local food and handcrafted goods since the beginning.

Our Mission

The South Windsor Parks & Recreation Farmers Market connects local farmers, artisans, and food producers with the community. Organized by the South Windsor Parks & Recreation Department (SWPRD), we believe in supporting sustainable agriculture, strengthening local economies, and building lasting relationships between the people who grow our food and the neighbors who enjoy it.

Every Saturday during the growing season, 220 Nevers Rd. comes alive with the colors, aromas, and flavors of Connecticut's finest local offerings. Whether you're looking for the freshest vegetables, artisan bread, raw honey, or handmade crafts, our vendors bring the best of the region to your table.

Our Story

The South Windsor Farmers Market was created with a simple idea: connect the people of South Windsor directly with the farmers and producers in their own backyard. What started as a small gathering of a few local farms has grown into a beloved weekly tradition that draws visitors from across the region.

Each season brings new vendors, new products, and new friendships. From the first strawberries of June to the last pumpkins of October, our market celebrates the rhythm of the growing season and the incredible bounty of Connecticut agriculture.
